Twangcentral Guitars are also an Australian agent for TV Jones Pickup made in the U.S.A, they are a Boutique quality replacement Pickup, with a Gretsch pedigree...Used by Gretsch in all of their upmarket models, like the Brian Setzer, Reverend Horton Heat and Chris Cheney models, because they are replicas and upgrades of the Classic 50’s and 60’s Filtertron pickups that set the agenda for the “Gretsch Sound”...Simple as this, if you have a Gretsch from the 80’s onwards, a Korean Gretsch, or Electromatic, these TV Jones Pickups are a real big improvement...We have installed them for many of our “Gretsch Heads” and they all love the result...

The Range of Pickups and tones are concise, there are the “TV Classics”, which emulate those original “Filtertrons”...The Powertrons are a similar pickup but more overwound, they drive the preamp in your amplifier harder and the sound is crunchier as a result...There are a bunch of variations on the theme, as well as many mounting options...You can get these pickups mounted in almost any guitar, without too much hassle or intrusion on the current setup...Gold, Chrome and Nickel Plating, Silver and Gold Surrounds, wiring harnesses with Quality CTS Pots and Switchcraft Switches are also a great upgrade on the Non USA made guitars (which already have this stuff onboard), they all are part of the Gretsch Tone and of course TV Jones is the bottom line when it comes to that!
