With very low serial number 000093 and the first version 'cake slice' headstock shape, this is a very cool and playable Made In USA 'Advanced' Pilot Bass, one of the first of the extended bass horn / balanced body designs to challenge P and J basses back in the 1980s. Complete with its original factory Bartolinii pickups and preamp system, this one has a subtle flamed walnut finish on the body and smooth bound ebony fretboard with cool 3 piece block/triangle inlays. Nice weight at just on 8 lbs. OHSC.
