Esteve Model 1 (Previously 1GR01) Esteve 1 (previously1GR01) solid spruce soundboard, laminated dark-stained African sapelli (mahogany) back and sides , white wood purfling on face only, rosewood fingerboard, simple bridge without string block ornamentation, deluxe tuners. The photo below is of a left handed Esteve 1. A left handed guitar has the strings put on the guitars in the opposite way so the 6 string is where the 1st strng would be on a standard guitar. In addition, the saddle slot in the bridge is slanted in the opposite manner--whereas on a standard guitar the saddle slot is cut so the lef tmost string is the longest, on a left handed guitars the right hand most string is the longest. This is because for a guitar to play in tune the bass string length must be slightly longer than the treble strings for the instrument to play in tune. |
