Twangcentral Guitars website has finally been launched and we are looking forward to showing our great range of vintage and new instruments and amplifiers.

Twangcentral Guitars one of the few Guitar Stores that do the whole "9 yards" from beginner Acoustic and Electric guitars through to Martin, Gibson and Fender Custom Shop instruments. We also have a large back room we call "The Vault", where you can come and see a great range of Vintage Guitars and amps that range from affordable through to Investment Grade Collectors Guitars and Basses.

Twangcentral is operated by Terry O’Riley and Nick Cawthorne, two "old salts" that have extensive backgrounds in the industry as "pickers and purveyors". You’ll see some pictures in our profile that will give you a look at the lads.

We like to call this place "Adelaide's Home of Martin Guitars" because we have both specialised in this Iconic brand for over 30 years in the various places we have hung our hats, in fact there’s a good chance that if you

have a Martin guitar you probably bought it from Terry or Nick! We usually have around 15 new Martins in stock plus a couple of used ones when we can get them. In the "Vault" we have 6 Vintage Martins at present, a 1951 D28 for example, you don’t see these come up very often. But it’s not just Martin we do, anything out

Nick Cawthorne

Sales Manager at Twangcentral Guitars is Nick Cawthorne. Nick is a third-generation musical retailer in South Australia, a multi-instrumentalist and regular performing musician.

Frank Cawthorne, Nick's grandfather, is part of the music history of South Australia, a tradition that is now continued on at Twangcentral Guitars with Nick.

Nick is a regular musical performer in South Australia and nationally as the bassist with Renegades country band and guitarist and singer with Bluegrass Junction. With over 40 years of musical performance experience in Bluegrass, Country, Jazz and Blues music, Nick has a wealth of expertise that can advise you on all aspects of musical instrument selection, tuition, and performance.

Lachie Reid

Lachie, works here on Saturdays and other times when we can get him in...He is a great picker, loves The living End, AC/DC and all the stuff we might tend to overlook...Knows much more about guitars that someone so young should and loves to talk about ‘em as much as we do...He owns a Gretsch White Falcon and a bunch of other cool guitars and amps, plays in a couple of different bands...It’s great watching someone twice his age listen to what he has to say and play...Feel free to look him up when you come in, a fella who we rate highly, it’s great to have him onboard here at Twangcentral Guitars
