Don't quite know what it is, but there is something nice about having a great guitar that has spent it's entire life here in Adelaide, as has this one! One of the all time great Electric Guitars from the Gibson Electric Golden Era! A "335" would be pretty much one of every guitar players top 5 instruments of choice. Specs from this 3rd year of manufacture go like this. Last year for the Dot Inlaid, Bound, Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard, the "Short" Celluloid Pickguard, Stop Tailpiece, "Tulip" Buttoned "Single Lined" Kluson Tuners, Nickel Plated Hardware and importantly, Gibson's famous "Patent Applied For", Humbucking Pickups! This great Cherry Red example still has it's Original Frets and it plays beautifully. Not too many better 335's than this one! Comes with the original hard case it was supplied in 53 years ago.
