Viva Las Vegas! here is an interesting D28 right here for your perusal guys! You might know the story already, But Elvis Aaron Presley was a big Rock and Roll Star, He recorded great hit records and ordinary hit films (E.G see "Kissin' Cousins" sometime). Born in Tupelo Mississippi, and moved to Memphis Tennessee as a young fbloke. Met up with Sam Phillips of Sun Records in 1955 and the rest is a matter of history I guess. A lot of us still remember where we were on August the 16th 1977 when it was announced that he had died. Anyway, he played a 1955 Martin D28, which was wrapped in a Custom Tooled Leather Pouch, just Like Buddy Holly did and here is a Signature Series Martin Tribute to that Guitar. It has a "Carpathian" Spruce Top, with a Indian Rosewood Body, Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fretboard and Neck as well as a replica of the leather tooled pouch. I don't know if this was intended just for Elvis Collectors or not, but this guitar sounds sensational, definitely not a one trick pony. Check it out, it has some nice adornments as well! Guess what! This one is Number 55 of the sequence!
