Immediately before the "Bursts" of 1958 through 1960. The iconic Les Paul Standard "Goldtop" was the first Solid Body Gibson to receive the newly invented "Humbucking Pickups". The very next year, they discontinued this finish, so the originals of this guitar are very rare and ultra cool!This one is from the famous Gibson Custom Shop and has all the build integrity you would expect. Looks, sounds and plays great. Mint condition, with all the good stuff still in the case.
