Released in 1958, the Gibson Flying V was a pretty radical guitar for those times, despite the Rock and Roll scene being in full swing by then. They were pretty underwhelming from a sales point of view as a result, but they had some heavy duty fans like the great Blues players Albert King and Lonnie Mack, both playing Flying V's for most of their career. Since then they have become more of a Rock Guitar and for good reason. This one has a Mahogany Body and Neck, with a dot Inlaid Rosewood fretboard. The Electrics are a couple of Humbuckers, with a 3 selector way switch, a couple of volume pots and a master tone. These things sound like they look....Hot!
