John Liddy (now deceased), fine furniture maker from Mount Barker, South Australia, began making Guitars and Mandolins in the late 1990's. This is the last Guitar that he built and it is a great tribute to his abilities. Gorgeous Flamed Rock Maple Back and Sides, Top Grade Sitka Spruce Top and as Black an Ebony Fretboard as you would find, are all joined together in a Beautifully made 16" wide, fully carved (Top and Back) Body, based very much along the lines of a Gibson L5. finished in a Sunburst. Nitro Cellulose Lacquer. A serious Jazz Guitar, that deserves a great home!
