This 1978 Precision Bass is finished in a rare Fender colour, Translucent Burgundy, akin to a see-thru Dakota red, very cool and showing zero buckle rash or major dings. Meanwhile the fundamentals are great: there's a smooth hard rock maple neck which shows some subtle flame, topped with a tidy rosewood fretboard whose frets are showing almost no wear. The black pickguard, the knobs, black P-bass pickup, tuners, strap buttons and neck plate are all original. In the 1980s - as was the fashion then - some professional modifications were made: an extra Jazz Bass style pickup (we believe it to be an EMG), a mini toggle switch to engage said pickup, a fully adjustable and very strong Baddass bridge, and a brass nut. This fine forty year old is a medium weight. Comes with the original hard shell Fender case.
