SOLD. The “IH” stamp on this 5F6-A amp’s tube chart dates it to August 1959. Gigged without a cover, extremely well worn edges, many a cigarette left unattended on it’s top, and no doubt some stories to tell, this amp features its original hardware, electronics and 4 x 10” Jensen speakers inside its finger-jointed red pine cabinet. This is, as Tom Wheeler writes, “what many consider to be one of the greatest guitar amplifiers of all time, the model 5F6-A (1958-1960).” This amp has pride of place in our vintage vault.
