1963 Fender Jaguar, Dakota Red, w Rosewood Fretboard #L12167

1963 was only the second year of production for the “Jag”, (introduced in 1962), a good year for Fender guitars across the board. The Rosewood fretboard was only introduced 5 years earlier and development had seen the necks become that bit fuller in hand by then, many think 1963 is “the” year. No reason to disagree when you play this one, it feels great. Refinished, neck and body, a good job in the right type of paint and lacquer. All other parts are original…Great example of an early Jag!
