Here's an unusual Gibson model, a mid 80's J size flat top with Gibson's version of an Ovation style ABS 'bowl back'. Created to deliver a big sound at a smaller Gibson price point, the top is X braced and has an attractive vintage 'burst finish, the neck is a nice full Gibson C shape with original frets in great condition on the rosewood fretboard. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners and a rosewood bottom belly bridge complete the picture.The volume and tone are surprisingly good with lots of sustain.
