How cool is this! 1975 was the last year of the "proper" Les Paul Deluxe! Some bright spark came up with the idea of using Maple for the necks from then on. This is something they got very right before doing that! For one year only and in very low numbers, they did a Red and a Blue Sparkle version, they are therefore VERY rare...The only others I have seen, for some reason have usually had cracked necks, this one is a "gem" in that it is totally crack free and factory original ...It sounds and plays great as well! definitely an investment as well as a lot of fun to play.
