These Maton Coolibah's are a pretty hard guitars to find. Unusually we currently have two of them in stock. This one is a 1988 the other is ten years older. This one has Maton AP5 pickup system installed and is in slightly better condition. Maton guitars moved their factory from Canterbury to Bayswater in 1990 and stepped up production significantly in the process. The old factory opened just after World War 2 and there are a lot of people interested in the guitars produced in the old factory, where there was a lot more handwork than the current CNC driven manufacture. These both sound great and play just as well, so well worth your interest. Come and have a play sometime and see if you agree.
