The Korean made Danelectros from the late 1990s and early Naughties have a well-deserved reputation for affordable playability and tone. This one features a strangely alluring aubergine burst finish. Some cool players have used them extensively, notably JJ Cale in his latter years as documented in the "To Tulsa and Back" documentary.
This one is completely tidy and clean, plays well and has a good range of tones from the 3 pickups and the groovy 6-position Selectomatic knob. The original owner advised that no pickguard was ever on it, but if one is required then a Dan parts search will surely locate a unit. Comes with a gig bag.
