Extremely rare “Marty Stuart” Telecaster, built nearly 30 years ago by the Fender Custom Shop. Nobody seems to know how many were produced, but I suspect that there are less than 40, with fewer than 15 fitted with the famous Parson’s White B Bender. Apparently the person they had fitting the multiple “Checkerboard” bindings around the edge got to a stage where he had had enough and there was nobody who was prepared take it on. Specifications include a two piece Swamp Ash Body and One piece Maple Neck, based on a 1955 “Esquire”. All Hardware is Nickel Plated, w 2 Brass Saddles and one which is mild steel. Moto multi layered Pickguard, Fender Broadcaster inspired Pickups. This one is a very special guitar.
