2003 Heritage “Sweet 16” Natural. #R17401

Twangcentral Guitars

The story goes, that in the late 80’s, Gibson had decided to move their Century old manufacturing facility from Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Nashville and Memphis Tennessee. Not everyone wanted to move and a handful of Gibson Employees, got together and decided to buy the famous old factory and continue making fine guitars, maybe even better quality. This is one from 2003 and the quality is indicative of what those new owners had in mind. Based on a combination of a couple of Iconic Gibson models. The L5, and the L4,CES both of which are “Sweet” top of the line Jazz Guitars, with 16” Body widths…Hence the name! A seriously good guitar this one!
