These "Marquis" Series Martin's are almost as good as it gets! Based on Martin's Pre-War so called "Golden Era" Guitars. D is for Dreadnought, Style 28, means you get an Adirondack "Red" Spruce Top, Indian Rosewood Back and Sides, Ebony Fretboard and Bridge. Under the hood we have, Scalloped Braces, with the Advanced X Brace. Diamond and Squares Fretboard Inlays, "Herringbone" Trim and the "through" Bone Bridge Saddle and Nut, along with Vintage style open back Waverley Tuners. All this with a beautiful and rare "Shadetop" Finish. This is a new guitar, with the full Martin warranty. Probably no surprise when I tell you that it sounds every bit as good as it looks!
