This is one of those guitars where all roads lead to Rome, a particularly close and even grained, Adirondack, "Red" Spruce Top, similarly even grained Rosewood through the Back ands Sides. The "Wide string Spacing, carries on up from the 1 & 3/4" Nut to the Bridge, resulting in a great guitar to play with a tone that is exactly what you hope for in a Martin of this calibre. Anyone would be happy to have one of these guys in the arsenal.
