One thing for sure. The type of guitar you can get as a first up guitar is of a much better quality than it used to be! With the Fender Mexican Facility making models that are based (sometimes very closely in fact) on the originals from just North of the Border in Corona California, at a much lower price, you can score a great guitar that might be not much more than a new Korean or Chinese guitar! This is one of them for sure! You could get one of these, do a little bit of work to suit your requirements and use it professionally in fact!
