1968 is a great year for Telecaster’s! Last year for the Nitrocellulose lacquer, also the last year of the much vaunted “Maple Cap” Fretboard. Allied with a Candy Apple Red “Custom Colour”, it makes for a hard to find desirable and collectable guitar.This one has had some playing, but it’s been looked after. The Neck appears to be a little fuller in hand than most from this era, it’s a great feeling, very playable guitar, due to a pro level refret, with the correct dimension for the era fretwire. So it needs nothing, but for someone to hang off of it!😎
