An almost 60 year old SG, without a neck or heel break! Almost unheard of. Not in mint condition, just in a nice “played” condition. War wounds you ask? Well if they were, they were earned in the pay office and not on the frontline! It has the nice wide nut width and full feeling Neck that was about to disappear later in the year. For many, the “Special” is the best of the classics era SG’s, with the P-90’s and bound, dot inlaid, Rosewood Fretboard and small Headstock. Nice to have the “Trem” onboard as well. Can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t like one of these guys, especially a great example like this guy!
