Here’s an interesting Martin from the very early 70’s…00 is the Body Size and the 21 denotes the “Style” and specs. In this case, the specs are interesting. This is the pre 14 fret neck/body joint version of the 00, meaning it is based on a Pre 1930 guitar, with the slotted Headstock and nice wide 1&7/8” nut width. Also and importantly, style 21 means that you get Rosewood Back and Sides and to finish up, A Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard and Bridge. I was a bit surprised that this one came along, as almost everyone bought either a D18 or a D28 back then here in Australia. This is a one owner guitar and besides a replacement Pickguard it is 100% original and in extra good shape. Sounds real good too.👍
